Kharid Fraser

Mrs Fraser has had an illustrious career as a banker who started in New York with CitiBank/Citicorp. During her tenure with CitiBank/Citicorp, she rose through the ranks, starting as Operations Supervisor in 1977 and ending as Assistant Vice President 1991-1993. In 1993, Mrs Fraser joined the Treasury Department of the Virgin Islands Government as Deputy Accountant General, and in 1995 she was appointed as Accountant General. She was appointed Acting Financial Secretary from 2005 – 2006 and resumed the role as Accountant General from 2006 until 2013, when she retired from the Public Service. Mrs Fraser holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of the Virgin Islands and a Master of Business Administration from Florida Metropolitan University.
