Policy, Development and External Relations

The Policy, Development and External Relations Division functions as the strategic intelligence and policy development unit of the Commission.

It is responsible for monitoring international regulatory and legislative developments, providing policy-oriented research and analysis on a wide range of issues relating to financial institutions and the framework of the local financial services sector. The Division also provides strategic policy advice, shaping appropriate policies in response to international initiatives which may have a bearing on the operation of the financial services sector of the Territory, as well as liaising with various international standard-setting organisations on the Commission’s behalf.
