Deputy Director, Authorisation
Trevecca Hodge was appointed as Deputy Director of the Authorisation Unit at the BVI Financial Services Commission in 2022. She brings over two decades of experience in financial services, regulation, and compliance. Her extensive background within the sector includes roles such as Deputy Director, Acting Director, and Senior Regulator, where she led critical regulatory inspections, managed licensing processes, and played an integral part in shaping compliance frameworks in the insurance sector. Her career with the FSC began in 2000, progressing through various regulatory and administrative roles. Ms Hodge’s expertise spans compliance inspections, risk assessment, and regulatory enforcement, underpinned by her certifications in Captive Insurance Management and Anti-Money Laundering. In addition, she has actively contributed to developing regulatory policies, attending global insurance forums such as the IAIS and GIICS to represent the Commission.
