FSC Publishes Revised Handbook on
>International Co-operation and Information Exchange

Road Town, Tortola – On Friday, 21 February 2025, the BVI Financial Services Commission (the Commission) published a revised version of the Handbook on International Co-operation and Information Exchange, A Guide for Regulators and Judicial and Law Enforcement Officials (the Handbook). The Handbook, which contains comprehensive measures to ensure the integrity of the Territory’s financial and legal institutions, is also a testament to the Commission's and Government’s recognition of cross-border collaboration as essential to addressing the global challenges of money laundering, terrorism and terrorist financing, and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. 

For over thirty years, the Territory has been involved in international cooperation matters through the provision of mutual legal assistance. By continually reviewing and strengthening its regimes, the BVI ensures that its efforts are in line with global developments in combating crime and regulatory breaches.
