BVI FSC Announces Change in Newsletter Frequency, and New Communication Vehicles
BVI FSC ANNOUNCES CHANGE IN NEWSLETTER FREQUENCY, AND NEW COMMUNICATION VEHICLES
Whereas the BVI Financial Services Commission (the Commission) previously published a monthly Newsletter, with effect from July 2023, the Newsletter will be issued on a quarterly basis.
This new publishing arrangement will pave the way for two new modes for Commission issued data:
- BVI FSC Webinar Newsletters, an enhanced version of the traditional newsletter, featuring any combination of video (live or recorded), graphic, and text applications. The first of these biannual publications will launch on 27 July 2023 as a live and interactive webinar that presents the findings of the 2022 Virgin Islands Money Laundering Risk Assessment.
- LinkedIn. The Commission has commenced active use of the professional networking platform known as LinkedIn. This social media presence will help the Commission to not only capitalise on opportunities to increase visibility and brand recognition, but also to stay in touch with industry and other audiences on a common platform. Considering the former, stakeholders are invited to connect with the Commission on LinkedIn via the profile name - ‘BVI Financial Services Commission’.
These new publications align with the Commission’s commitment to ensuring better communication and greater engagement with our stakeholders.
The Commission also continues to invite industry professionals to request placement on the External Relations directory and to indicate interest in being called upon to contribute professional expertise to Webinar Newsletters, roundtable sessions, Meet the Regulator conferences, and other initiatives.
