Tortola, British Virgin Islands – 9 November 2023 – The British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission (the FSC) considers it necessary to issue this public statement in order to protect the public interest and the interests of any customers or creditors of HiTech Digital Business Ltd. (HitBTC) and to make the general public aware that HitBTC is no longer registered as a BVI Business Company. 

The details are:

The FSC has been made aware of websites stating that HitBTC (website address:  https://hitbtc.com/) is an entity incorporated in the Virgin Islands. HitBTC was incorporated on 9th August 2018 under the BVI Business Companies Act, 2004. On 1st May 2020, HitBTC was struck off the Register of Companies following its failure to make payment of annual fees payable under BVI companies legislation and was subsequently dissolved on 4th July 2023. HitBTC has never been licensed or regulated to carry on any type of financial services business in or from within the BVI.

HitBTC is no longer registered as a Company under the BVI Business Companies Act.

The FSC has issued this Public Statement pursuant to Section 37A (1) of the FSC Act.
