Tortola, British Virgin Islands – 18 October 2023 – The British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission (the “FSC”) considers it necessary to issue this public statement in order to protect the public interest and the interests of any customers or creditors of Bybit Fintech Limited ("Bybit") and to make the general public aware that Bybit is no longer registered as a BVI Business Company.  

The details are:

The FSC has been made aware of websites stating that Bybit (website address https://www.bybit.com/en-US/) is an entity incorporated and registered in the Virgin Islands. Bybit was incorporated on 22nd August 2018 under the BVI Business Companies Act, 2004. On 10 December 2021, Bybit was struck off the Register of Companies following the resignation of its Registered Agent and was subsequently dissolved on 4 July 2023. Bybit has never been licensed or regulated in the Virgin Islands to carry on any type of financial services business.

The Company is no longer registered as a Company under the BVI Business Companies Act.

The FSC has issued this Public Statement pursuant to Section 37A (1) of the FSC Act.
