INTERNATIONAL MARINE SURVEYORS

Tortola, British Virgin Islands – 21 July, 2022 – The British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission (the “FSC”) considers it necessary to issue this public statement regarding INTERNATIONAL MARINE SURVEYORS (the “Company”) as a matter of public interest.

Effective 1st July, 2022, the FSC revoked the Loss Adjuster licence held by the Company pursuant to section 37(1)(a)(i), 37(2)(a), and 38(1)(a) of the Financial Services Commission Act, 2001 (the “FSC Act”). The revocation was effected as a result of the Company’s history of non-compliance with the following statutory requirements: 

• Requirement to make payment of annual licence fees.

The FSC wish to further advise that Company is no longer licensed to carry on any type of financial services business in or from within the Territory. 

This Public Statement is issued pursuant to Section 37A (1) of the FSC Act.
