B.O. TRADEFINANCIALS LTD. and SPREADSPIPS

Tortola, British Virgin Islands –  12th July 2023 – The British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission (the "Commission") considers it necessary to issue this Public Statement in order to protect the public and the interests of any of the customers, creditors or persons who may have been solicited to conduct business by B.O. TRADEFINANCIALS LTD. and/or SPREADSPIPS and to make the general public aware that these entities have never been registered in the British Virgin Islands, nor have they been licensed or regulated by the Commission to carry on any type of financial services business.

The details are: 

B.O. TRADEFINANCIALS LTD. and/or SPREADSPIPS have been circulating a forged investment business licence bearing the Commission's logo and are falsely purporting to be authorised and licensed in the BVI for the purpose of conducting investment business through a Global Business Licence as an entity licensed and regulated by the Commission. 

The Commission informs the public that B.O. TRADEFINANCIALS LTD. and SPREADSPIPS are not registered in the BVI as business companies and have never been licensed or regulated to carry on investment business or any other financial services business in or from within the Territory of the Virgin Islands.

Members of the public are advised to exercise extreme caution if solicited at any time to conduct business with B.O. TRADEFINANCIALS LTD. and/or SPREADSPIPS.

The public is invited to provide the Commission with any relevant information on any questionable entities which are purportedly operating in or from within the Territory and on any improper activities engaged in by such entities.

The Commission has issued this Public Statement pursuant to Section 37A(2) of the Financial Services Commission Act, 2001.
